The new Basden College on the outskirts of Suva opened for the 2008 school year. The first intake is 2 classes of Year 9 students and the school will grow as each year group progresses on.
The Religious Education Curriculum produced by the Anglican Schools Office has been revised to complement the new New Zealand Curriculum.
It is a national guide for Anglican schools to use as they plan their own school’s curriculum. Copies are available from the Anglican Schools Office. A Model Curriculum Implementation Plan is attached to the national curriculum, with lesson Topics and Outcomes, and there are also C.I.P. activity worksheet books available for all schools.
